About the Book

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Vol. 2: Stupid Old Man!! continues Masashi Kishimoto's legendary ninja universe, following Naruto's rebellious son as he pushes further into the high-stakes Chunin Exam. Boruto advances through round two of the exam and even earns rare praise from his father, the Seventh Hokage himself. But there's a catch: what Naruto doesn't realize is that his son has been secretly using prohibited ninja tools from the Scientific Ninja Tool Corps to gain an unfair edge.

As Boruto basks in his hard-won victories, the volume builds mounting tension around the inevitable moment his cheating comes to light, and what consequences it might bring for both his budding reputation and his complicated relationship with his often-absent father. Meanwhile, darker forces begin advancing behind the scenes, as the mysterious, godlike Otsutsuki clan sets its sights on the ninja world once again, hinting at threats far larger than any exam. Co-written by Ukyo Kodachi and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto under Masashi Kishimoto's supervision, this volume deepens the emotional stakes of Boruto's journey while building the larger mythology that connects this new generation to the legendary conflicts of the original Naruto saga.
